With programs for degrees, diplomas, and certificates ranging from undergrad, bachelor, postgrad, doctoral, and master's, Arunodaya University, Arunachal Pradesh was founded by the State Legislature and is authorized under the UGC Act 1956 vested in 2014. To meet the nation's expanding demand for higher education, the institution was founded.

The university's entrance exam determines who gets admitted to the PhD program at AU Itanagar. At Arunodaya University Itanagar, scholarships are given out as stipends and fee exemptions to deserving applicants.
