ABOUT

       Affiliated with JNTUA, Anantapuramu, Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Rajampet is an AUTONOMOUS institution. The institute was established in 1998 under the direction of the Annamacharya Educational Trust in a gorgeous setting on a large 30-acre campus close to Tallapaka, the renowned saint poet Annamacharya's birthplace.

         The honorable secretary of the Annamacharya Educational Trust is Sri. C. Gangi Reddy garu. He was born in 1954 in Siddulapally, near Thallapaka, the birthplace of the saint poet Annamacharya, to farmers Choppa Narayana Reddy and Choppa Rajamma. After completing his basic education in Thallapaka, he proceeded to Sri Govindarajaswamy Degree College in Tirupathi, where he earned his B.Com. degree. In 1977, he graduated with a Master of Commerce from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati. He graduated from Osmania University's evening program with an LLB in 1981.

       In the year 1997, he made the decision to form the Annamacharya Educational Trust, of which he is the Honorary Secretary and includes some of his well-wishers as members. Founded the Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences in 1998 as an engineering institution in Rajampet, followed by the Annamacharya institution of Pharmacy in 2001 and the Annamacharya College of Education in the same year on the Rajampet site.

The year 2005 saw the founding of the Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences in Piglipur, Hyderabad, and the same year saw the opening of an engineering college in Tirupati.

      Our mission is to educate students from the local and rural areas, and from other states so that they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society. we provide individual attention, world-class quality of Technical education and take care of character building.

Innovations by the Faculty in Teaching and Learning

            The teaching-learning process uses a variety of techniques, including problem-solving approaches that make use of ICT resources, LMSs, and e-resources, as well as experiential learning and participatory learning. The academic calendar is rigorously followed in the execution of all academic activities. A mentoring program is in place to monitor students' personal and academic problems and to provide counseling. Through a variety of examinations, the necessary efforts are being taken to determine the pupils' learning levels (quick and slow), with additional instruction being given to slow learners. The school offers the Divyangan pupils the necessary facilities.

LCD projectors and laptops with Wi-Fi capabilities are examples of contemporary teaching aids that are typically used in classrooms and other student learning situations.
In addition to minor and major projects, the department has included Engineering Projects for Community Services to the curriculum.

            By offering a robust ecosystem to support their ideas, companies, and research into profitable entrepreneurial endeavors, the AITS Innovation & Incubation Center is a platform that strives to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of start-up enthusiasts.

Incubation is a process of unconsciously recombining thought elements that were stimulated through conscious work at one point in time, leading to novel ideas at a later point in time. Incubation is one of the four stages of creativity that have been proposed, along with preparation, illumination, verification, and incubation. We believe that innovation and incubation are essential to the survival of all entrepreneurial endeavors, whether they take place outside of or inside of educational institutions. We ardently hope to connect incubation and innovation to improve competitiveness, efficiency, productivity, and quality for our academics, students, and staff.
